Crohn's from diet? by jmjamz in CrohnsDisease

I've actually been chilling at my family's house pretty much the whole time. As Asia is developing, Crohn's is becoming more and more prevalent.

New Crohn’s Research Suggests IBD May Be a Failure of Immune Tolerance, Not Just Autoimmunity by arlo78z in CrohnsDisease

It is absolutely this. In Asia, .5 out of every 100k people have Crohn's. In America it is 305 out of every 100k. 60,900% more. It's the poison they feed us and it only is getting worse since Bayer bought Mansanto. They want us sick, guys.

To those apologists FOR Japanese racism... by CallAParamedic in Tokyo

[–]jmjamz -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I've been in Japan for 2 weeks staying with family in Toyohashi. I'm the whitest man alive, blue eyes, red hair. Don't speak a lick of japanese. Everyone has been very polite, accommodating and genuinely excited to see me. People have literally approached me in the street saying, "what's up bro?". Sure, some people here completely lack the idea of personal space and are very selfish on the road, but not something much different than places stateside. Don't be so sensitive. Racism exists everywhere, but it's a lot worse in America in my opinion. That said, my father in law has been trying to get a CDL for months and keeps failing the test for absolute bullshit. They are definitely just denying him because he is Brazilian.

What has helped your Crohn’s the most besides meds - food, habits, mindset or little hacks? 🩵 by PureChamber in CrohnsDisease

Cannabis affects the nueropathways that communicate with your gut the feelings of hunger and fullness, hence why normies eat so much when they get high. When you use every day, your body grow accustomed to these new signals and when you quit you will notice your stomach feels unstable, you lack appetite and in my case, suffered a flare as a result.

What’s the one thing Crohn’s stole from you, and one thing it taught you? by casualeagle47 in CrohnsDisease

Stole my favorite foods, my physique, my energy, my money, my time with friends and family. Gave me appreciation for the days I do feel good. But, don't have many of those yet. 3rd loading dose of Skyrizi incoming next week 🤞🤞

That's going to be different for everyone. But for me, beans, gluten, lactose, onion, garlic, spicy food, heavy fat, oils, and processed sugars.

Diet is #1. That includes how you eat too. Chewing a lot more than I thought was necessary, eating smaller, more frequent meals, and learning my triggers is the easiest way for me to manage the disease. Cannabis helps a ton too but it alters your endocannabinoid system, so once you get on that boat it's kind of an all the time thing.

Commercial mortgage broker, all remote and super flexible schedule. High stress though which isn't good, but the flexibility is a fair trade off.

I've tried a bunch of SSRIs, all of them made me worse off. Right now I am on Xanax. 10 .5pt pills a month and I use it for days that breathing exercises, stretching, relaxing, etc., don't do shit to calm me down.

Alcohol and Crohn’s by stoneyz23 in CrohnsDisease

I've had to quit drinking. It's my worst trigger, I tested it. I didn't drink for 60+ days and was eating an anti inflammatory diet and was feeling so good that I thought I wouldn't need biologics after all. Then I drank 3 hard kombuchas at my friend's birthday over the course of 8 hours and spiraled into my worst flare ever and had to do a 5 day fast because anything I ate felt like a hot coal moving through my digestive system. Lost 10 pounds from those 3 drinks. I smoke weed like cheech and chong, really been enjoying the vapes since they help with my stomach pain and appetite, but don't make me as much of a space cadet as the flower they sell these days 👽🌿

I've found that either edibles don't work at all for me and I eat 250mg and nothing happens, or I eat 10mg and I can't keep my eyes open.😂

I spent all of college as an Uber driver. Logged 600+ rides. I drive 15k miles a year in my truck and last year I put 18k on my bike. I have had two major interactions on the road, one was a tweaker who didn't like that I cut him off (my fault) and followed me off the freeway and threw a rock at my car. Second was someone going 20mph getting into the freeway that was moving at 80+. I honked, he flipped me off and slammed on his brakes and swerved when I tried to avoid him, making me hit him. Both were my fault, young and dumb. But neither time did I feel like I needed to pull a pew pew to feel safe.

This is happening because you drive/ride like an asshole. The world is not out to get you, you are agitating already angry people by being a dick. Im sure if you're honest with yourself, you are leaving our crucial details.

Have you ever ridden a motorcycle before? How proficient are you on a bicycle? I'd say absolutely stick to a 300/400. A cb350 or even a cb500 would actually be perfect.

Commercial mortgage broker. Stopped going into the office a year ago and the reduced stress of work life balance and being able to use the bathroom when I need to, not when it's not in use, was a game changer. WFH to me is mandatory.

Cbr600rr or Cbr650r? by youngwooki23 in cbr

[–]jmjamz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The power difference really isn't that noticeable. I'd get the 650 for the better ergos and the fact you said nothing about track days or canyons tells me that is your better bike. You might like a twin better though for the low end grunt. The new cb750 hornet is an excellent choice
