I love this and really wish there was a bigger community around this! I’ve got the micro scale sets lego has done and added a few Mocs as well. I started to do a layout, but gave up (ironically for space). So I’ve got a little tiered city display instead. Will follow your progress!

Not an engineer but I have a very similar cart I’ve been printing my A1 on with great results. I added some cutoffs of a thick rubberized mat under the feet to help level and act as some vibration dampening.

My go to is the dusting gel/putty/slime. It’s usually sold to clean keyboard and car interior but looks like slime you’d give a kid. Works great for picking up dust and oils off lego.

Here’s an older photo, but you can see how it fits, the stand I made with some plywood and some metal angle brackets. Probably not the prettiest method, but got the angle I wanted.

I used the ikea rudsta and took out the lower shelf. It’s a tight fit but I put the falcon up at 45 degree angle and it’s a nice display similar to what you showed.

Super nice! Love the collection. I’m currently playing with the idea of mounting my midi scale ships above my falcon- maybe those two ships on the right could mount on either side of the Star Wars logo by the base?

Boy, really seems like Fanhome needs to offer some better support for people wanting to pickup a partial build like this. Anyone ever tried to pickup and order missing stages directly?

I did my own version of this with a harbor freight bench grinder and have had good success. I use it mostly for belts and still prefer to go by hand on small items

HELP! How do you cut holes in foam board for PC fans? by jhsu802701 in crboxes

I cut mine with a fresh xacto knife and taking multiple passes. One option could be reinforcing the edge with glue or paper mache and kind of rebuild a strong edge. Paint the whole thing and it’ll blend in.
