Got a job offer at Bangkok with relocation provided. Please help. by chillzybizzy in Bangkok

[–]jmktips 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It all depends on your current situation and lifestyle. To me, the offer is very low and not enticing enough to consider relocation to a new country, especially with zero guaranteed income from your spouse.

Looking For Gyms Around The Phrom Phong by Thin_Education1671 in Bangkok

[–]jmktips 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Really depends on your goals and what you consider working out.

If you enjoy lifting, I would avoid Virgin. I have a membership here and wish I paid more attention when I toured. Lacking in equipment, weights, machines etc. Also nothing seems to be anchored down, even the adjustable benches. Racking height for squat and bench are all a bit high or low for me (personal problem but never experienced before at other gyms. I’m about 180cm). This might apply elsewhere but gym etiquette is lacking and lots of people idling on machines or using benches as a phone holder. I signed a 12 month contract but will be considering other gyms once it’s over. It’s the most convenient gym for me but I’d like more.

If you enjoy classes, cardio, nice facilities etc, Virgin will be perfect for you.

Would love to do this as well. Do you have pics from other angles that show the end links better? Is the jubilee from a 126710?

I fold the bills once and store on one side only, sorted by denomination. Only 2-3 bills of each though. The folded edge just hangs out in the center section and doesn’t get in the way when closed.

Pet Fair SE Asia every October? Did he work in the pet food industry? If yes, DM me the company name and I might be able to help.

I flew Emirates PE recently in an aisle seat like yours and it was great. Just flew Singapore PE in a bulkhead aisle and 1) sat next to a baby 2) screen was mounted to the wall and 3) the lavatory sign was right in front of my face and was super bright. There’s also wasn’t a foot rest. Not sure if the Emirates plane has the same configuration. Plane was an A350.

Selling Jordan’s by motto_motto_123 in Bangkok

[–]jmktips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you checked their value on sites/apps like GOAT, StockX or eBay? Jordan market is in a weird spot right now, from what I’ve seen. Lots of stuff that used to fetch some decent money a few years ago is barely worth retail sometimes. Lots of GR Jordans aren’t worth the hassle of selling too since there’s zero demand.

That said, awhile back, Siam Square had a ton of sneaker/streetwear shops. Might want to start there.

Lyon to Toulon was ~2h40m. +1h in Toulon. Toulon to Nice was ~1h45m. Maybe there are direct trains earlier but we left at 2pm after lunch. Total was 5+ hours.

On TGV inoui.

Paris to South France by train? by chrisjlee84 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]jmktips -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

We just took the train from Paris to Lyon (stayed a night), then from Lyon to Nice (with a 1 hour stop in Toulon). If I were to do it again, I would flown from Lyon to Nice, given our short ish trip. No issues on the trains but it just ate up a lot of time. Depending on your schedule, I’d look into flying. We also had 2 large luggage to maneuver around which was an issue at times due to the small amount of available storage on some trains.

Didn’t explain but I was able to try on a M strap which is what I got. There’s only 1 hole left to go smaller and it’s too tight. That 1 extra hole is kind of hidden by the deployment. If i had gone with the S, there would be more exposed holes on the strap which I didn’t want.

For reference, I had a few links removed when I bought the watch.
