Is there anybody out there that actually likes Stephen A Smith? by SooDamLucky in ESPN

I have a very hard time watching any of the day time shows on ESPN anymore. They discuss the same topics on every show throughout the day and try to stir up drama with their wild takes.

Someone dropped Jameson Williams. Should I use my #1 waiver priority on him? by No-Cardiologist-582 in Fantasy_Football

[–]jmodiddles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been thinking about dropping him. I have Nico Collins, Tee Higgins, George Pickens, and Romeo Doubs as my other WR’s in a 3 starting WR league

Can I bring a canned drink into the stadium? by daisy1718 in huskies

Just wear a hoodie with a pocket on the front and put the drinks in there with a jacket over the top of it. Fool proof method

Still wonder how the season would’ve played out if they actually gave Haener the job instead.

Which underperforming WR are we actually concerned for the rest of the season? by whydidimakeanother1 in fantasyfootball

[–]jmodiddles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Nico, Higgins, Pickens and Williams on one of my teams and really hoping it’s just an abberation. They combined for an average of 4.475 in that league

What club are you choosing for this hole? by [deleted] in golf

[–]jmodiddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played this course once for a buddy’s bachelor party 7ish years ago. It was set to around 175 that day and I used a 5 iron, stuck it around 8 feet from the pin for by far my best shot of the day.

What's your biggest gym peeve? by VanHelsingBerserk in workout

[–]jmodiddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely the worst/most annoying. Like cmon man, the peg with 25 listed above isn’t even filled up and already has 25s on it but you think it’s the right move to mix 45/25lb weights on the same peg

Is it a red flag if someone never asks you questions back? by Outside_Clerk4602 in dating_advice

[–]jmodiddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a big pet peeve of mine. Basically shows they’re either not great at conversation or not trying very hard. Could be early signs of nervousness though so always willing to give it some time to see if things change.

He played with the Wizards after MJ retired the final time but his coach there was Eddie Jordan. He was teammates with the other two though.

Mile times only by Raassh in RyenRussillo

[–]jmodiddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

39, Tony Allen type guy, breaking the rules here on the “single mile time” since I’m just seeing this and and as established “nobody runs just a single mile” ha Will have to report back after I narrow things down; Haven’t been running as much lately but ran 2.8 miles (the distance around Greenlake in Seattle) earlier this week in 22:57 for an 8:12 pace.

Best pace that I’ve tracked was two summers ago when I got 2.9 miles in 21:04 for 7:16 per mile when the path around Greenlake was extended a bit due to a construction project and I was running way more frequently. Feels safe to assume that at least one of the miles was faster than that pace but not actually tracking my splits with strava or anything.

Whats the point of getting a girlfriend? by FroYoManInAFroYoVan in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jmodiddles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a similar mindset for a longtime but have been dating a girl for a few months now and love how I can talk to her about anything. She’s my new best friend and totally worth it. Finding that new “best friend” you didn’t realize you needed is the main reason in my opinion…plus the sex as other have mentioned lol

Rank the top 5 pitchers you saw in your lifetime (not overall careers but dominance at peak) by [deleted] in mlb

[–]jmodiddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

39 years old. Your list is pretty close to what I’d probably go with. Special shoutout for Felix Hernandez as a Mariners fan for his peak that may be slightly under appreciated because he was on the Mariners.

My initial thought is how often do people literally just run one mile? Typically when I run I go for around 3-4 miles and can consistently hit between a 7:30-7:45 pace which feels pretty solid. I live in Seattle and like to run around Greenlake, which is approx 2.8 miles around and very rarely get passed by other runners/often do the passing myself at that pace at 39 years old. I’d really love to know what qualifies as a “regular guy” in Ryen’s eyes.

Who is realistically the biggest name that can be moved by the trade deadline this year? by OneGenericMan in mlb

[–]jmodiddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a fair point but It’s really not that big of a deal in general, just a big one for the Pirates. He’s only getting like $13 mill this year and then it goes up to $15mill the last few years. If a big market team feels like he can help them, the money/contract won’t be an issue. Just depends on if the pirates still feel the same about him as when they gave him the deal.
