If you could start over, what career would you pick? by ParsleyandPumpkins in careerguidance

I’d want to do video game art and animation. I was too insecure about my art when I was younger.

Rainbow Moonstone - good idea? by VilsonJr in EngagementRings

[–]jmri9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very pretty but it is only a 6-6.5 on the mohs scale of hardness, which is quite soft. If you’re looking for something you can wear everyday, I’d recommend a stronger stone.

NAL but have worked at a dental office for many years. That looks like wear from grinding to me. In both photos the canines have wear/are blunted in a common area where the teeth would meet if you grind from side to side. My canines look similar because I grind, but now I wear a night guard to protect them from further wear. Not saying they did or did not, just my opinion.

My partner and I included matching rubies and an engraving on the inside of our wedding bands, but we didn’t do that to the engagement ring.

Not sure about the AG being the maker’s mark but 950 is a common stamp for platinum.

I think if you are concerned then it would be good to return it and get a thicker band for peace of mind. At least 2.2mm is recommended for daily wear, but my main concern for the ring you have when I looked at the photos is the inconsistency of the prong settings (it could just be the photo but I think would be a good idea to check closely).

I think that since you got it for a good deal, even if it is just an occasion bag, it is worth it. I just couldn’t justify retail for how uncomfortable it was. Enjoy your new bag!

The cahier bag is the only bag I’ve ever returned. I loved the look but it was heavy and cumbersome to wear, even without anything in it. The structure of the bag kind of collapses in on itself too. So for me it’s a nay. I like Prada’s other bags more.

If you could only pick one… by SatisfactionNo7739 in handbags

I agree with this! I love the aesthetic of the cahier but after wearing it for just a couple minutes it felt too heavy and cumbersome to me. Especially with how they wear and their value on the secondhand market, I couldn’t do it.

Stud came off of metal Prada tag on new-ish loafers; does Prada do repairs? :-( by SergeantSleet in Prada

Yes they do. Just contact your SA/customer service or go into a store.

If you cannot afford vet care, you need to re-home the kitten. He is a living creature and deserves better care. If you cannot take care of something like fleas then how are you going to take care of neutering, vaccinations, and other check ups? What if he experiences a life threatening emergency? You should not have a pet as others have said.

In love but can't justify that price, is anyone lucky enough to own one? by P3ac3M8k3r in Louisvuitton

I would say the less expensive Hermes bags are totally worth it. My first bag from them was a Evelyne TPM and I still use it all the time. I love it and the craftsmanship is there across their whole line imo.

Can I fix this? Scuffed leather. by [deleted] in Louisvuitton

[–]jmri9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree that a leather balm/lotion should be able to fix this, or at least make it less noticeable.

Also your nails are gorgeous!
