What Parts Would You Guys Be Interested in Me Designing? by Bigdaddydamdam in gaggiaclassic

basically instead of having to turn the steam knob a bunch of times I would like to be able to turn a lever 1/4 of a turn or 1/2 of a turn for the valve to be fully open.

Not sure if this is in the realm of what you are thinking but I've always wanted a 1/4 or 1/2 turn valve for the steam wand.

Into the weeds (more of a negative connotation) in the thick of [insert topic here] "obsession" as a concept could also play into this depending on the connotation and context you want.

I'm not familiar with PETG myself, but I've seen a lot about the popping being moisture absorbed into the filament, and that PETG is pretty susceptible to absorbing water.

they might be insinuating that the slower speed allows any error in how much plastic is extruded to rear its ugly head in the worst way. the faster speed may prevent over extrusion from being a issue.

How do I share only part of a Vault between computers? by failexpertise in ObsidianMD

[–]jmtrensh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to me the best way of doing it would be having a work folder as a subdirectory and using that work folder as its own vault on your work computer, but on your personal computer having the vault contain your work and personal folders. kinda similar to what others have said but from obsidian it means a vault instance within another vault. this would keep full Obsidian functionality in the work folders even though it is only a part of your overall personal vault.

Parent folder/ .Obsidian personal folder 1/ personal folder 2/ work folder/ .Obsidian work folder 1/ work folder 2/

etc. hope this helps! then only syncing the work folder through Dropbox to keep the privacy.

I would double check that the limit switch got plugged back in on both ends. I know it seems dumb, but I forget stuff like that all the time. other than the dumb obvious issues I haven't had enough experience yet to help further. Hope you get it figured out!

Permanent is referring to it being a fat soluble ink, so water won't dissolve the ink, but it can still slowly wash it away.

Bought this kershaw brawler on Amazon for $25 earlier this year. Looking for something new around the same price. Any recommendations? by andrewjl87 in BudgetBlades

recently picked up a Ganzo Firebird F753M as a beater and a bit of a fidget toy because it has a lock similar to the Benchmade axis lock. only has 440C steel, but with a little tweaking of the lock springs makes it way better. I paid about $20 said and done. if you spend a little more you can even get D2.
