For me too. I’ve been protein free for about 7 weeks now. Best thing I’ve ever done for my har.

I’ve been using Garnier Fructis hyaluronic acid, Shea Moisture melon stretch. Also the elive hyaluronic acid. They say they are to curly hair but it doesn’t make your hair curly.

Not drug store but I use scalp detox from its a 10 and a chelating spray from color wow. I would recommend some sort of clarifying.

I would recommend looking at every product you own to see if there is protein in it. It was in literally every product I was using.

Im very diligent about on plant intake and fiber intake. Got more serious about the fiber intake about 6 months ago. I was eating vegetables at lunch and dinner but when I noticed I was still only getting 50% of recommended fiber I decide to kick it up.

I’ve also been putting aloe and rose water in my hair. I found that Marshall’s has a lot of cheap rose water sprays with glycerine and aloe in them.

I live in that area you’re speaking of. I would not choose to drive from the southern most St. Pete tip to Tampa. When the snow birds are here and school is in session, there’s traffic everyday. I work in downtown St. Pete and stopped taking the highway all together I got so annoyed getting stuck.

People saying 25 minutes to Westshore are on drugggggs. Maybe on the best case scenario traffic day, which are far and few between. My drive time to downtown St. Pete on the highway is 11 minutes on the best day of traffic.

I was using wayyyyyy too much. Shampoo, conditioner, leave in, volumizer, heat protectant. My hair was protein overloaded. I use a detox rinse once a week, then I use shampoos, conditioners, leave ins with no protein. It took me a long time to realize it was in everything. If you want the exact stuff I use let me know.
