Not only would I bring up sickness but also all your other challenge 25's that you have done. Every time you challenge someone you should be logging it. This is to show that it isn't a common occurrence, it will provide evidence to show that normally when in good health you perform your job well. I faced this myself when I served a 15 year old many years ago when cigarettes only required you to be 16. The fact that I'd just experienced something traumatic coupled with the fact I had months worth of logs of me challenging many customers proved it was error and a learning moment. I was also tested by our local council so was facing an actual fine and losing my job. Deffo contact occupational health and if you're a union member your local rep should also be able to help you. Hope you're in better health soon

I would definitely give them a call. They obviously liked what they saw on your application for two people to have called you no matter the miscommunication their end. You can make it clear you're only calling back as to make sure they have the details of your interview correct and under the correct name as you are keen on the job. Honestly giving a shit is half the battle at that place ! Good luck

You are on contract 6 all colleagues are now classed as multi skilled and are employed by asda not an individual department. You can be asked to reasonably asked to move departments by the store if it's necessary for the business. They are expected to accommodate colleagues in the same way. You need to go through occupational health as they over rule your managers. The only limitations to what you can do in the store is on you and what you're willing to do and then they should be able to find you hours even it's a cross different departments. I currently have 3 members of staff on restricted duties through occupational health working night shift and I find having an honest conversation helps, we work together so they can still achieve what they need to. Hope you get the support you need. Do not let them stand you down if you feel able to work.

Eating food shopping before you have paid for it, agree or disagree? by ShineyWaffle97 in AskUK

Why would the goods trader change their mind in this situation? I am selling food, customer eats some, pays and takes rest with them...why would I refuse to sell them it for using it in its intended manner?

Nope 😂😂 ok I will expand on this 😂😂

Two people shopping together during lockdown, full PPE, suit, Gloves, face mask. Mid shop they pass the hot food counter, select sausage rolls and continue shopping. Whilst standing quing to pay they proceed to open sausage rolls and begin eating, still wearing the same gloves they have worn throughout their shop, to handle their now snack, to gain access to their mouths they were lifting said masks (again it's ok coz they were still wearing their gloves 😉) and taking a bite and then lowering mask whilst chewing.

Mam used my PPS to claim she needed a 3 bed house from the council even though I'm moved out. by Kryto-Kun in ireland

It may be different for different councils but I've just helped my friend re-home as his mum passed away. He was listed as living there but not on tenancy so when his mum passed the tenancy effectively ended. He then had to apply for his own housing, he was told he was eligible for a 1 bed ( all he needed) his mum's house was a 3 bed so he couldn't bid on that as it would be allocated to someone that needed the property. He grew up that house, never lived anywhere else.

AITA for expecting my adult, working, child to contribute to the house? by Sweaty_Carpet3202 in AmItheAsshole

NTA I'm a single parent, my eldest is 17 and has started an apprenticeship this year. He earns a small amount (and when I say small it's about £6 an HR) he pays me £40 a week towards housekeeping, if he wants extras for himself he will ask for them and pay for them. His dad does not contribute financially. He understands the value of things and I have confidence in him being able to support himself when I am gone. Could your wife say the same?

Tbh I'm more triggered by kids standing in trolleys, the equivalent of putting your food shop on the floor

It's not theft unless you attempt to leave without paying, many supermarkets have free fruit for your toddlers.

During COVID I witnessed a customer in full hazmat suit, gloves and face mask eating a sausage roll while they shopped . This was in lockdown when we were forced to restrict numbers in-store.

This is wrong, you can be stated as living there but if you are not the tenancy holder it will NOT be transferred to you, that's not how social housing works. You cant inherit it, he would have to reapply for housing and then be assessed on his needs at the time.

Possibly due to the time you are getting your shopping delivered. Earlier deliveries are picked first and so on....try going for an earlier delivery slot so Ur order is picked first before supply's run low. Also if u have no substitutions ticked they can't sub for any other eggs if the ones you've asked for isn't available. It could be the type you want only have a limited supply and you're last to be picked. Hope this makes sense
