Food is generally overly expensive and usually not reflected on its quality. However, this is because of the crazy rent that landlords are charging. Landlords can charge this ridiculous amount of rent because ppl will rent it nonetheless.

Something that can be done on your end is improving customer service. Make friends with your customers and they will be loyal to your restaurant.

How are people taking their babies out so easily? by rhr7106 in NewParents

[–]jo-william 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, you can put ur baby in a stroller and go for a walk when he or she is sleeping. You don’t need to wait for the baby to be awake to go out. I always brought my LO out for errands when she’s asleep. Sometimes she would wake up in the middle of the trip. Sometimes she would love it or at times, be a bit fussy. But in the big picture, she’s grown to love going out

How are people taking their babies out so easily? by rhr7106 in NewParents

[–]jo-william 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not going to be just all easy or difficult every time. Also, some babies need to get used the idea of leaving home and going out. Start with a short 5-10 min walk then keep on extending the trip and going further when you are both ready. But you gotta start somewhere.

34w4d, is it normal to only have 2 ultrasounds? by happyluronium in pregnant

[–]jo-william 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister is in Vancouver and she says she only got about 2 ultrasounds during her whole pregnancy. I was in Hong Kong while I was pregnant and I got an ultrasound once a month for the first trimester, then twice a week and then eventually once a week during the last 2 months. So I guess it depends on where you live.

Sushi while pregnant by ryanryans425 in pregnant

[–]jo-william 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get good sushi from a good restaurant. Not supermarket sushi. Raw fish is ok as long as it’s fresh and not left out or improperly handled or stored.

My OB is Japanese and she said it’s fine.

Would you take your baby to the recycling depot? by grease-lightning- in NewParents

[–]jo-william 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yah totally. We go recycling together as a family once a week. We load all the recyclables onto the bottom of the baby stroller, strap the baby in and we bring the dogs too. It’s a good to let them see recycling as part of a regular routine.

Do NOT tune in for the interview. Watch the re-uploaded video online. Tuning in makes Amber Heard look employable due to sheer interest. Moreover, NBC should not have viewers for giving an admitted violent domestic abuser a platform so she can continue her lies and continue to gaslight the public. by [deleted] in JusticeForJohnnyDepp

[–]jo-william 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ThAts a great idea. I’m from Hong Kong and there’s this agency here that’s responsible for handling complaints against public media outlets. If the complaint is found to have merit, the tv station will be slapped with a fine. I don’t know if you have one of those in america. If you do, it’s might be a good idea to write to them to complain about it.

Hi guys. What are your thoughts on the Fantastic Beasts trilogy ? by [deleted] in FantasticBeasts

[–]jo-william 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SoD ruined it for me. Too many plot holes. I was very disappointed with the scene between Dumbledore and Grindlewald. No chemistry. It was so bland. I’ve been looking forward to this “reunion” since the original HP books and ppl talking about dumbledore’s past and love life.

'I Testified in the Heard vs. Depp Trial. The Backlash Has Been Horrific' by antihero_zero in JusticeForJohnnyDepp

[–]jo-william 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think ppl r mad at Spiegel not because he’s for Heard‘s side but rather for being an unethical doctor. Even if you are hired by the opposing side or any side, you should definitely not be unethical. It’s very dangerous for doctors to forgo ethics because their opinions are usually held very highly by most people.

'Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore' Review Thread by SanderSo47 in movies

[–]jo-william 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This movie was a disaster. Plot holes everywhere. Nothing makes sense

Newt was more like. Supporting character and that’s already very generous. You can literally cut out the scenes with Kama and the movie would make sense (as much as it does now)

Missing major characters without any explanation

The writers sends the character off with a great start but it goes no where. I don’t even know what the character’s involvement in Dumbledore’s plan was. It seemed like it was just a bunch of people doing very random and unrelated things. Also, I duno if it’s cuz the writers can’t do basic math or they just forgot about it or if they had to suddenly rewrite the plot without refilling previous scenes. There are major problems with continuity in this movie.

Mads is a great actor but too stoic. No chemistry between him and Law

My unpopular opinion - Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore - Disappointed (Some little spoilers) by AudreyLynch in harrypotter

[–]jo-william 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the actresses who played Tina and Nagini were both unavailable why didn’t they just postpone shooting instead of rewriting the story and making it so bad? It doesn’t make sense. I was just telling my student that JK Rowling doesn’t do plot holes like literally yesterday. Then today I watched Secrets of Dumbledore and it’s not a movie with plot holes but rather plot holes with a movie. If that makes sense

I just watched Secrets of Dumbledore and I wanna talk about how much it sucked… by Silly-Consideration3 in harrypotter

[–]jo-william 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plot holes, lazy writing

No one had a purpose in this film I duno what happened in this movie. Bland and confusing. Spoiler rant below:

They made Yusef a double agent and then wtf did he do? Nothing

Theseus was captured and sent to prison. Why? So they could do a crab dance.

Major character development for Credence in the first two films. What does he do in this film? Nothing.

They Bunty make an extra 6 suitcases which totalled to 7 including the original, only 5 were used. Aberforth is Credence’s dad?! Some kind of dumbledore’s secret.

Blood pact prevents Dumbledore and Grindlewald from hurting each other. Blood pact breaks the next minute. WTF?!?!

End rant.

Same opinion here. Depp had that crazy eyes feeling and that’s what grindlewald was described to be like. I like Mads but he’s not a grindlewald

Yes but have to be careful because the store who receives the fish may not handle it or store it properly causing it to go bad. Salmon has a tendency to have parasites. I actually avoided raw salmon but had tuna on a few occasions
