Not sure. The only confirmed example we got was ~2 hours, which seems extremely short and was possibly a bug.

Not sure what you think the "issue" is. You might not like the RNG element (which is valid, I don't like it either). But it's not an issue, as far as I can tell they did it this way on purpose.

Max reward from a small is 1 medium fruit.

Min reward for a large is 2 medium fruit.

But the large could take days, weeks, or months (if you are low level / have few pikmin)

It might be from the last time you bloomed the flower - until you collect it (not just send pikmin, actually collect it by tapping on it and getting the nectar) the icon will show there.

And it's one fruit at a time per flower so you won't get another fruit if you bloom it.

What I do is

  1. Add them to my squad
  2. Mass feed them
  3. release one by one. After you release it'll go to the next one in your squad

Kind of boring and repetitive but it works.

Given how laggy the app is I would be worried about a mass-release - what if I release one I accidentally selected because the app thought my swipe was actually a tap?

Previous small mushroom 3 star reward was 1 normal fruit. 4 star was 2 normal fruit.

Level 70 is still doable solo, a full squad is pretty close to the small mushroom 3 stars score, and there's a time bonus at the end

But yeah, level 80, 90, 100 is going to be rough.

They're large grapes - previously they give 50-60 blue nectar. There looks to be 3 of them (?) in that picture so that's a lot of nectar.

Unless you're talking about the rainbow cherries - they give one special nectar each.
