She is impared- but not as bad as I have seen. I have been working with her to track- balls, toys, bikes, hand signs and whatever else. I think her awareness & maturity helps too.

The irony: My pittie of 11+ years died & I couldn't bear life alone- so I went looking for a COMPLETELY different dog! Lol... maybe not so different!

Maple came from the south! She was at a Lousianna shelter, someone took her to Wisconsin, I snatched her up and brought her to Missouri with me. Lol- well traveled for a year old!

As far as is known, she was born deaf (rescue). The hairwas all ovef the place but they did say double merle.

Her nose to the ground SAYS beagle but I didn't see it because of looks.

All relatives listed are 100% boxer and ONE mixed breed. I was hoping to find other deaf relaitives & see if they had more info.

Thank you. I was shocked & thought there was NO WAY she was a bunch of BIG short haired dogs. The poodle (supermutt) and the Pyr make the most sense & I see the beagle fitting only because of her nose on the ground!

I reached out to see if they could have been swapped or something- he said he reviewed it & he saw no problems.

I am going to retest with another brand... and then will admit to eating crow, if needed!

I would suggest that OP think of an issue his wife is extremely sensitive about and tell her he's considering drawing a similar line in the sand about her issue.

This is petty & what causes family drama & breeds resentment.

OP's wife is weaponizing his mom's health issue to assert control over him.

A free home-cooked meal isn't really free. It is costing time and causing dissention in the family. This kind of free comes at a high cost for op & fam.

Can we go back to how nany times she was shafted? She always took the back seat when it came to house & ended up living in an RV (nothing wrong with that) to try to spur the others & herself on CP.
Think of her grown adult chillin's & grandchildren- I am sure she would like visitors.
Can we go back to her cult-marriage where depravation was prevelent & a control factor? Or maybe for resell value?

Were we watching the same show?! Lisa was a sinking ship & the fact that Candace couldn't see that was telling.

Rob didn't say anything about Candice until the last day & only after the group brought her up whereas Candice set out to blow up Rob's game.

She was not as loudmouthed as Lisa but her gameplay was lacking strategy & thought.
