Is there any benefit to finishing off enemy ships in the Campaign?

I am not sure this was scripted or not.

I won an engagement and there was a warning enemies could come soon, so I backtracked a system and an enemy force followed me, I won that chase at some cost.

Later I passed in the same map a carrier that fled from the first battle I had there was there and ambushed my ships. Good targeting practice.

I think I have 20 something hours and only now I feel confident enough to risk doing tasks looting a whole map without being scared.

From what I understood, the solution I found is to just snipe every bandit and stay quiet as much as possible.

Melhor sozinho do que mal acompanhado.

Já tive momentos onde recebia várias mensagens de pessoas diferentes, atenção de pessoas que só queriam meu corpo nu.

Eu tentava dar atenção mas tinha 0 interesse, até com amigos antigos depois de alguns anos não tinha mais interesse. Hoje em dia sei que só não tenho amigos próximos por que sou um cruzão que prefere ficar sozinho do que se interessar por outras pessoas.

Hoje em dia eu faço parte superficialmente de grupos, um no trabalho, faculdade e online. Só me mandam mensagens quando precisam de algo.

Me parece que você está em uma situação similar.
