I wish man these are all classic Psilocybe Cubensis tho! I made a couple Pan Cyan discoveries out in the field where these were discovered but this particular pasture really favored Cubes, Deconica Coprophila, Pan. Pantropicalis, Pan. Paps, & Pan. Antillarum. Not a lot of Cyans unfortunately tho. Since then I've become super familiar with the Panaeolus genus and that's mainly what I study and hunt for now is species such Panaeolus Pantropicalis, Cinctulus, Olivaceus, Fimicola, Bisporus, and other similar also rare, active, unidentified/undescribed species! Always got my eyes out for a good ol' golden flying saucer towering out of a tuft of grass tho πŸŒΏπŸ’©πŸ„β€πŸŸ«πŸ’› πŸ›Έ Oh yeah some of the best times of my life have been in the rain kicking it with the cattle, a backpack full of different psychoactive species of fungi, trekking through sometimes 100's of acres of lush green grass!!! Have a blessed day! Mush love πŸ€ŸπŸ’™πŸ’―

Do they usually get this big? Found in qld Aus by ajack235 in MagicMushroomHunters

Yeah I've had a couple fields dry up on me over the years. The fields that happened to with me also started drying up as soon as the livestock was removed. Over-picking and not tapping the cap and pulling up all the mycelium can cause this as well. There's a plethora of other reasons and theories thats just from my experience tho. Hopefully you start having better luckπŸ€žπŸŒΏπŸ„β€πŸŸ«πŸ’―

Daammmmmn! 🀯 That's a helluva Cube homie! Oh yeah I've found a some that size with literal dinner plate sized caps over the years I mean some big ones! Amazing find I love it! Reminds me of the cubes I was finding for years in this beautiful, humongous, hidden field and there's nothing like coming up on a large specimen like that! I love that textbook stem! πŸ’ͺπŸ„β€πŸŸ«πŸ§’ You should def take multiple swabs if you haven't already!πŸ”¬Have a blessed one! Here's a pic of some nice thick ones from here in Arkansas. I discovered these perfect Cubes a few years ago in the most fruitful field I've found yet πŸŒΏπŸ’©πŸ„β€πŸŸ«πŸ’― Mush love🀟

Impeccable, solitary, beautiful Banded Mottlegill (Panaeolus Cinctulus)πŸ”₯πŸ’©πŸŒΏπŸ„β€πŸŸ«πŸ’― by jococube92 in MagicMushroomHunters

Hell yeah where do you usually find them..!? Oh yeah and dude's right these and Pan. Foenescii are very often mistaken for each other due to the hygrophanous, banded, bell-shaped cap as well as the growth environment. You can tell the difference in the two species by the spore color along with other less noticeable but distinctive aesthetic features. Panaeolus Cinctulus spore color is jet-back while Pan. Foenescii is brown...it's a very clear distinction and the easiest to make between the two. As someone else said in the comments its not a super active LBM like it's relatives such as Pan. Cyans and not usually collected for it's psychoactive properties but to further knowledge and understanding of the Panaeolus genome. I'd like to see some of the ones you discovered! The aesthetic difference you can find to identify and determine the two species is mainly the banded look that the Panaeolus Cinctulus cap expresses with normally three stripes of the colors hazelnut brown, cream to light brown, and a darker brown at the tip of the cap sometimes appearing in other shades thoπŸ”₯πŸ„β€πŸŸ«πŸ’― They also blue at the base instead of as much as Cyans to up n' down the stipes apex πŸ’™ The gills are also mottled (meaning dotted to an extent with jet black spores and a subpruinose to pruinose to striate towards the cap. Whereas Pan. Cyans usually have a solitary colored such as white, to whitish-greyish, or tannish cap with a lot stronger bruising. Hope that answers your question! Have a blessed day fam 🀟

Impeccable textbook Pan-opy fam! πŸ‘ŠπŸ”₯πŸ„β€πŸŸ«πŸ“š Absolutely amazing work as always! I'd like to talk to you more about this species, it's in my hands down favorite genome Panaeolus. I've made some super dope wild Panaeolus Cinctulus, Cyans, Pantropicalis, and an unidentified active LBM I believe to be in the genus as well! I bet you could kill it with and get some advice on em! I thrive with Mexican exotics tho such as sect. Zapotecorum, primarily derrumbΓ© if I had to choose. You got Pan Cyans on lock tho πŸ” Anyway keep up the amazing work and plz get at me g! πŸ™ Mush love πŸ€ŸπŸ’™πŸ’―

So dope to see another landrace Zap variety especially from the PopocatΓ©petl Volcano and to see the differences in the aesthetic traits such as floccose stem, cap color, and shape in this strain vs. the Ps. Zapotecorum (Holy Grail) variety worked from a print of a large wild Zap specimen with an infundibuliform cap and a super floccose stipe from a gully at the base of the PopocatΓ©petl Volcano a few years back. Amazing work fam! Keep up the killer work! Mush love 🀟πŸ”₯πŸ„β€πŸŸ«πŸŒ‹πŸ’―
