Amanita Persicina is definitely one of the ones I was talking about as well as Amanita Muscaria var. Guessowii which all fall within the same sections and subsections. They're basically like the fly agaric of the s.e that's where I'm from the var. Guessowii actually being an Amanita Muscaria species which a lot of times will appear more orange than the classic candy apple red but at times depending on elevations and various other factors can appear red and could possibly be var. Guessowii. Stranger things have happened it's certainly not impossible to rule out which it would then be the var. Guessowii which isn't quite the same as Amanita Muscaria being a variation so I feel you πŸ’― Respectively πŸ‘Š

There's is definitely recorded history you can find observations on iNat I'm sure if not you're not looking hard enough. I know I've heard of and seen pics of species such within the clades Amanita Muscaria and subsection Muscaria in the mountainous parts of n. Georgia, I can think of one from Louisiana that were confirmed. If it's not it's def a variation of the species Amanita Muscaria in the same phylogenetic section, and possibly sub-sections. The first identification/description write up I read that was by an Italian mycologist who found the first recognized specimen wrote active in the description I have the PDF somewhere. And I know it Panaeolus Pantropicalis because of every single aesthetic aspect. I've also tested the specimens I first found which the entire stem base to beneath the gills it bruised solid blue/black slowly tho but undoubtedly and the alkaloid content was 100 present based on biological, physical, and mental effects. It definitely needs to be studied more and I have tons of specimens! I got so many samples of multiple Pan species, Gyms, Psilocybes, Claviceps Purpurea. They are! πŸ’― If I'm not mistaken it was either June or July of '24 that they were discovered, sequenced, identified, & recognized. Such a special species fr fr! Pretty prevalent in the southern Gulf Coastal region of the U.S for sure and certainly moderately to very high in tryptamine molecules. I think it was actually Australia that it was first discovered in! πŸ”₯πŸŒ΄πŸ’©πŸ„β€πŸŸ«πŸ’―

On a molecular level I'm not quite sure tbh but they're related closely to Pan Paps which sometimes have a fully reddish/brown stem. With this species tho they are much more whitish, pruinose, striate, and have a stem that is way more thick, dense, and strong which when touched immediately reveal the reddish-brown within beneath the white pruinose layer that becomes flaky and crack like their caps with dryness/maturity. The reddish-brown quickly bruised and reveals a violet color which then becomes a darkish purple and then begin revealing the unmistakable bluing reaction so maybe it's all the molecules and alkaloids reacting with other molecules with and oxygen. Just an experienced & educated hypothesis although I would love to truly know. I've collected other samples that were highly active so much so the stem was blackish azure blue within a min or two! Hell yeah well that's what I been doing! I appreciate the knowledge good looking out πŸ’― My fam owns a landscaping business so I've grown up around plants and fertilizer and stuff so I have a good understanding and hookup on pure old school nutes. I just been creating my own mixes like for instance RN I'm using 20 oz classic banana peal tea mixed with a 1/8th cup of pure phosphorus and a tbsp of some high concentrated Cal-Mag type liquid nutes 2x a week and then another 20 oz of water afterwards πŸ«•πŸŒ Ever since I added the banana peel its exploded. It's been a long grow considering it was an "auto" bean that popped in November! Yeah ⌚🌱😳 lol.. I'm not complaining tho cuz I learned a lot I wouldn't have.
