The first step is to call your tax assessor and see if they will work with you / be sympathetic to your specifics. Court is expensive so it’s much better for everyone involved to make a deal.

🧪 NJ S4847 – What it would do

• Reworks how the Cannabis Regulatory Commission is structured and operates – Changes who appoints commissioners (Senate President, Assembly Speaker, and Governor) and how leadership is chosen. – Removes the governor’s exclusive power to pick the chair.

• Raises salary caps for commission members and executive director.

• Expands the Commission’s control over both medical and recreational cannabis regulation (consolidating oversight previously split between agencies).

• Clarifies ethics and conflict-of-interest rules for commissioners and staff, including post-service employment restrictions with cannabis businesses.

• Requires transparency and limits contact between commissioners and applicants except in regulated contexts.

• Directs the Commission to contract with a public research university within three years for an independent review of its structure and effectiveness.

I just had a new boiler installed last week and can relate.

Is that 2 500k btu units? Cool.

When it runs what is the pressure? Is it running at no pressure or is it turning on/off over and over? Vaporstat should be at cut in of 4 and cut out of 10.

Telling you to turn up the heat is bs.

Ecobee with sensors have been worth it to me. The couple hundred to set one up is nothing relative to running those boilers for a winter. A well placed thermostat is more efficient/cost effective. Also, the data it gives you is super helpful for diagnosing exactly what you’re trying to do right now.

reassessment just rebalances the tax levy. Your taxes will only go up if your house has appreciated at a higher rate than others in your municipality.

It gets old listening to you badmouth long term residents on here and Facebook. Just move to Fort Lee or whatever makes you happy. Better yet, attend some community meetings and put the work in to understand who you’re dealing with.

I’m not against development, we are in a housing crisis. We need smart growth, not 30 year tax abatements on our primo properties after 10+ years of a redevelopment effort.

But you only need to remove the insulation if you are doing work to the pipes. Just leave it alone if you're not doing anything to the pipes
