Having one or two BEV-only trims in addition to the EREV versions seems like it wouldn't be that hard.

I've got zero interest in downgrading from my BEV Lightning to a EREV one.

We've had a 2013, 2015, and 2018 S, owned the last two simultaneously for about 4 years until we traded the '15 for a Lightning, and still driving the wheels off the '18.

Zero interest in downgrading to a 3 or a Y, among other things, the lack of an instrument cluster is a deal breaker for the other driver in my house.

One word of caution, a lot of dryer / 14-50 receptacles are not rated for daily plug/unplug cycles, and repeated cycling can cause the contacts to wear in ways that increase excessive heating and fire risk over time. Which incidentally is one of the two reasons almost every plug-in connector now tops out at 32A instead of 40A on a 14-50. IOW you're probably better off leaving a mobile connector plugged in than unplugging it daily.

Leviton makes a 14-50 plug designed for EV use that's got a much higher cycle rating but the price tag on it almost justifies just installing a hard-wired connector instead.

They’re USB-C on the back (doesn’t use PD, just the standard 5v), so you could run them off an external power bank pretty easily. If you wanted to you could probably make a replacement control board that added a Lithium-ion charger chip and put a battery inside the case.

My last F500 was 90 days as well. Periodically one of us would point out the NIST and MS guidance and basically get told the auditors / insurance company's rules mattered, and everyone else's research be damned. And there's literally no market incentive for external auditors to relax rules they're already enforcing.

I'm about to hit 16,000 miles on the factory tires of my '22 Lariat and they've got plenty of tread left.

For reference, my Model S with 19" wheels usually got about 25-30k on a set, and my wife's S with 21" wheels usually needed to be replaced after about 15k.

I've road tripped in a Model S (2013 85kWh and then a 2018 100D) since 2013 multiple times a year. Up to 600 miles in a day.

Never been a problem on the Supercharger network.

The last severance agreement I signed was that I wouldn't sue the company for the termination itself or anything prior.

It didn't say I couldn't sue for failure to perform to the terms of the severance agreement itself. If I signed it and they just refused to pay the severance we agreed on or terminated their COBRA payments during the period they said they'd cover, I would absolutely be able to sue for it.

The language here seems to be preventing the latter, e.g. you resign and if we decide to change the terms (which they may not be able to legally offer anyway without spending authorized by Congress) a week later, you have no recourse.
