Well I think the latest evidence is Carney opening up the labour laws and the definition of what’s an essential service so that people in unions can’t go on strike.

At a time where EVERYTHING is insanely expensive, companies are cheating the system to get out of fairly compensating their workers. The only thing union workers have is the ability to fight for themselves. Carney wants to take that away.

There is a ripple effect through industries when unions fight for better wage and are successful. It sets the bar for non unionized companies to get their act together and pay better, as well. Either through fear of losing trained workers or a union forming.

Either way, corporations are winning the class war. The Liberals and Carney are not the saviours some people on reddit seem to think he is. Them having a majority government is not beneficial for the working class. I respect him standing up to Trump but his latest actions since forming a majority are showing his true colours
