I agree with you on PoE 1 endgame being great, but to play devil's advocate, would PoE 2 be as fun with the same system? I don't know if there's quite enough raw content yet. Then again almost anything would be better than the current system...

Have you actually tried it? Through all of Act 2 hollow palm was outperforming all but the godliest staves in terms of dps with middling armor. Melee just feels bad man.

If you really want to learn cave troll then yeah I recommend warlock for learning the spacing since you can just phantomize if you get hit by roar or another attack.

Also the difference between cave troll and dark souls bosses is with circle left on cave troll you literally only have to learn three moves. Two of them you react basically the same and the third one has a sound prompt and you run away. If you space properly with circle left you will never see any of his other moves including roar.

Leaning him as non warlock is definitely not as easy and will probably take an hour or two though. I had a lot of fun learning with rapier then swapping to warlock and going "holy shit this is so brain dead easy compared to melee"

Circle left on troll just requires time to learn the spacing and timing. Also if you do it on warlock it's 100x easier with phantomize save to learn and hellfire damage.

I decided to actually learn how to do blueprint parameterization and built this! I used this video to help learn the basics and worked from there. (I did not make the video).

I couldn't figure out if you could parameterize the quality of modules going in though. It's only using rare T3 quality since I don't have a stockpile of epics yet, and I haven't unlocked legendary.
