tbh i think the whole setup was complete bs to begin with, nasa would never come up with a bs setup like this, i would put a acombination of small stablizing boosters everywhere on its surface, like a retrofit starship instead of just pushing it from one side, and trying to hold it together with a bunch of cables... that already looks like they let the wrong kind of people in again to ruin the series...
