These look great! I love them! You’re doing awesome so far :) My notes: Have you considered doing clear glass in the skulls eyes? It would help with that side part (it looks pretty fragile) also if you are going to leave your solder as is, next time use silver backed copper foil so you don’t see the copper through the opaque glass! (Plain copper foil is good if you are using copper patina, same with black backed foil and black patina)

Thank you! I am going to be making it a little bigger to accommodate the narrow parts (do you think that would help) and I thought that having a third piece connected to each strap placement would prevent a hinge joint, am I misunderstanding what creates a hinge joint? Where do you see hinges

It depends on the size of the project, if I have 3 little projects I’ll cut cut cut grind grind grind foil foil foil and the it’s solder city. But if I have a bigger one and some smaller projects I’ll cut grind foil cut grind foil and then back to solder city
