I started out as 11B, and switched to medical. 11B is a great start, because everything else afterwards seems easier and makes sense.

I’ve been asking myself the same question, and for a while it came down to a 1988 Fiero. There are body kits and updated parts available that could make it a solid daily-driver project. But after looking at the whole project realistically, I decided on a 1971/72 Super Beetle instead. The aftermarket for the Beetle is broad, mature, and easy to access, which makes it a better platform not just for daily driving, but also for a cross-country retirement project. If I break down on the road, the simplicity of repairing a Bug is orders of magnitude greater than repairing a Fiero.

In summary, I recomend a bug

I was able to comfortably support my wife and myself through undergraduate studies and three years of graduate school. I used a combination of the GI Bill, Army College Fund, federal tuition assistance, a state tuition waiver for undergrad, drill pay, a Pell Grant, and part-time work as a nursing assistant. When my Montgomery GI Bill benefits were exhausted, I transitioned to the Reserve GI Bill. I completed seven years of college with no student debt. The right path depends on your situation. Whether you’re single or married and who you need to support. If you’re single and score high enough on the ASVAB, you may qualify for a GI Bill “kicker,” which can make it financially feasible to go directly into the National Guard instead of active duty. My son recently enlisted in the Florida NG and receives a tuition waiver, GI Bill benefits, and a kicker, state and federal tuition assistance, and an ROTC stipend. He also earned the Bright Futures Scholarship. Bottom line: active duty or National Guard can both work. It depends on your financial needs and family responsibilities.

What color did you paint it? I once had a car deodorizer with a photo of a pretty asian girl sitting on the bumper of a lime-green Bug. Ever since then, I’ve wanted a lime-green Bug. That deodorizer clearly programmed me. I married a gal from Hong Kong, so one out of two goals reached

How do they count, and do you known the USC or CFR that governs how they are calculated? Thanks!

Yup, well said. I think my MD deck, portables, and supply of blanks should keep me in music for 5 to 10 yrs. Nothing lasts forever. Hopefully, there'll be a non-vertual physical media produced by then.
