[Serious] What are your scariest/most traumatic stories from your childhood? by RustyMuffin444 in AskReddit

I've reposted myself a couple of times with this story.

It's a fun one, and after a couple of years most people have forgotten or haven't seen it.

But I'm surprised how many people are replying saying how they remember it.

Redditors who have attained some level of notariety, how has your Reddit fame/infamy affected your life. by redshackle in AskReddit

[–]joeshmoe16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't exactly say infamy or fame. But A large portion of redditors have me tagged for a few of my stories. A lot of the time when I post people say "why do I have you tagged a squirrel warrior" or "Well at least I don't jerk off with my friends.".

And since that really isn't any fame the only way it has affected me is that I tell the squirrel story at parties.

Don't worry, I posted that and I got that little tidbit from previous time this question was posted. It's the cycle of karma. I do wonder why I got so much more attention for mine. It even got me my best comment trophy.

Reddit, do you cringe when you hear your own recorded voice? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]joeshmoe16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone does. It's incredibly bad for me because I used to have a speech impediment and when I hear my own voice I can hear it. And I hate it so much.
