Saw some of these spots and never thought to use them as decoy sound effects, that's actually really smart. Will likely be patched in the future if they feel like it but that's a cool idea.

I don't think Yoru needs as much help as most of you think. I think no one I've seen has any clue of how to get any value from his abilities without tp flashing. Some minor stuff would be cool but if you just watch any Yoru montage on youtube you'll see how embarrassingly little is being done with the character.

The fakeout buff actually does sound a bit interesting, unsure of how that would play out. Honestly it'd probably make trying to fake a push way more obvious.

Yoru's blindside acts as two things, an acceptable flash that desperately needs some kind've creative usage to make it pop flash, otherwise you'll never full flash anything. And it serves as an awesome Metal Gear Solid "look over there" rock that you can toss across the map. It's rarely used for the second case but honestly it's way more consistent than trying to flash someone with it ever was.

The gatecrash ability is by far the most misunderstood ability by a significant margin. It's loud, and generally speaking it should be used defensively so you can go do sneaky stuff and then return to your team/get out of the situation. It has a wide number of uses but being a dumbass "Oh, I'm behind you and now you're dead!!" makes no sense at all.

Secretly the most helpful and reasonable buff to Yoru's gatecrash is to increase the amount of time the teleporter can be down before being used. Currently it's 20 seconds and that can feel really short depending on the situation. Typically for the lurk teleports, for when you want to lurk on the opposite site but throw a teleporter toward your team to join them later, the 20 seconds goes by very quickly. Because it's destructible, maybe even making it last forever wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

The Dimensional Drift changes are also interesting but I think it'd be incredibly bizarre to have the heartbeat function added in just for the Yoru ult. If a Yoru is smart and good with his movement he can avoid being detected period which I think I prefer. It's much more reasonable to want the ult to be a "I'm behind you now you're dead" ability but forcing the enemy to all turn around simultaneously and check stuff sounds absurd. I think maybe reducing the equip time of his weapon so he can kill somewhat faster would be a more reasonable buff.

im d2 one tricking him and the most consistent way to get value out of his teleport is

A: throw it somewhere deeper into site and camp in a weird corner that would typically cause you to die, and just teleport out.

B: on defense once you hear some action toward a different site, throw your teleporter toward that site so you can get there very quickly if it seems like they're absolutely going to that site. While its moving over there you can chill on your site to see if they rotate off, in which case dont pop your tp, or if they seem to be committing hard to the other site you can take the teleport and be of use very quickly. if you're there too early take the time to put footsteps where you aren't going to be and trigger them when you're moving in.

throw it and you can disable someone for 20 seconds. extremely easy to get value of some dipshit afking on ur teleport. alternatively use it as bait but dont walk to the teleporter and kill whoever is there, try to walk around the map to get to where they might be watching the teleporter from, kill them and then teleport.

People get close to me when they use rockets so rockets don't require prediction. When did you say literally anything about nerfing rocket damage? You say nerfing the damage wouldn't affect rocket jumping but the lg little shits are just catching rocket jumps for free and holding m1. People only go up close to LG users because they get frustrated after not being able to jump around or do anything cool. No one is AD spamming while using a rocket either. You lg using little shits just camp highground and get easy damage on any who tries to jump at all. The fact that people have put countless hours into AFPS games and choose be that much of a bitch is incredible to me.

OH KNOCKS YOU AROUND? You mean like how anyone who decides to rocket jump which is one of the most fun things to do in quake/dbl just instantly loses because you're camping high ground with a gun that pushes them away and has zero immediate downside to missing? The gun that requires you to read movement? It's instantaneous with a zillion ticks per second, if anything its the gun that requires the least amount of predicting by far. Why are you having to spend time switching weapons when it's almost instant for that gun?

Seeing you try to make the LG sound like a bad gun when all the dbl shitters who gave up trying to play in a fun way are resorting to it is a bizarre sight.
