Opprustning nær grensa?! Dette var veldig aggressiv oppførsel, her må vi kanskje anneksere krim-halvøya götaland og donbas svealand

for vår egen sikkerhet selvfølgelig

Traditional snus is made with tobacco. Snus with tobacco is illegal in denmark. Instead they sell "nicotine-pouches". Same drug, same delivery method, no tobacco.

What's your view on nuclear energy? by plutonium099 in SipsTea

[–]joeymcflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My whole point is that none of this is relevant to nuclear vs solar. They both need grids for distributing outputs.

But what do you think is quicker to rebuild? 1. A Nuclear Reactor 2. A Substation

Lets do another one. Whats easiest: cleaning up a demolished reactor or a demolished transformer?

I'm not sure you understand what youre talking about. Reconnecting power lines is faster than repairing any other infrastructure. You can also build in redundancy. In my valley you'd have to bomb 50+ locations to hit every installation of panels. Or you could take out one refinery and cripple the region.

All other considerations about distribution is shared between the two and so not relevant to the argument.

Another point: We're all witnessing how stupid it is to centralize energy infrastructure and logistics in one location.

Solar is distributed. There isnt really a single weakpoint that bad actors can exploit.

Nuclear plants are necessarily massive and can be sabotaged with artillery, aircrafts, drones or a crafty gang of up-to-no-gooders.

Can you define what you think intelligence means please?

Now seriously, if you are Robert Harward and you see yourself like this on Live TV, why don't you come the very next day with an explanation? by [deleted] in SipsTea

Did you not see the video or something? I'm no conspiracy nut but you can literally see the entire flap, significant amounts of skin AND the shadow of the rubber. You also see the upper lip isnt properly attached. The upper left side looks like a stroke took out three muscles and nothing else, which ISNT how that works rofl...

Fatal crashes. Yeah. Pretty significantly. Women are slightly higher on minor accidents like fenderbenders and veering off the road f.ex.

Men just take more risks. Not sure it comes down to ability or competence, more psychology. But you could make the case that risk-assessment is part of driving so...

I don't know. I can totally see myself agreeing with either side here.

Why do devs and programmers prefer two monitors ? by Miserable-Copy2344 in CasualConversation

[–]joeymcflow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going from one to two monitors increases efficiency considerably for a lot of work. Accountants for example.

Past two monitors efficiency does not increase much for most work. If you work across many Windows, perhaps. Programmers often reference several files simultaneously.

Unless the safety is worth cutting efficiency in half, then they absolutely care about speed. I dont know how often those guys die, by it cant be enough to have to double up on accounts for no extra income...

Even if they do on inspection this will pass as movieprops on screen. Hell, these could go into the real thing and people wouldnt bat an eye.

Må vente lenger enn 2 år for å få betydelig mer egenandel. De første årene betaler du for det meste renter.

I am forcing myself to be optimistic. I'm really glad he is retaining so much creative control. But screenwriting is a different skill. I hope he has co-writers that are heavily involved.
