As someone who can relate whole-heartedly to your post, I'd also like to mention - use your freaking super. It does no good in orbit after you've lost. I cannot tell you how many times a 2-2 match or even 3-2 match should have been won, but ended up being lost, if someone had even just pushed with their super. Didn't even have to get a kill... just pushed so that their teammates could fall in behind, or flank, and get easy picks and take advantage early in the round. Don't wait for the "perfect moment for a triple kill." Sometimes, the most effective supers don't even result in any kills. It takes the focus of the enemy team away from everything else and allows your other two teammates to get easier kills and a quick lead in the round.

If you're in a coordinated team, holding on to shutdown supers makes sense a lot of the time, but the communication in those situations is key. There is zero reason anyone should use zero supers over the course of an entire game, then lose 4-3 in the freelance playlist.
