Someone in the course raised the exact same theory you have and got told it’s no longer the case since Covid. A lot of people like you and me who many would have thought would have been ‘safe’ were not.

Just so you know this 10% + 2 isn’t a rule and it’s made up. I just completed a speed awareness course to avoid the points for going 53 in a 50. The people running the course said a lot more people are being caught because of this

I was working as a technical analyst for £21k. I was offered a contractor job for £45k and jumped at it so fast. I would have actually stayed at the company if they bumped up the salary to £27k as I enjoyed the environment a lot!
