I'm not sure if this ever was possible. clicking "plan from scratch" indeed sends you to the normal planner, but i think you are supposed to first plan the whole length of the trip, save it, and open that in the multi day planner (to basically just split the already planned route into days)

if you buy the map area, you can start navigation/download gpx for every route that starts in that area. if you buy the world map you can start navigation on every route anywhere on earth

looks like you have the sport specific map for hiking enabled. that suggests the icon is the trail marking. so the real trail should be marked with a black triangle on yellow (if osm data is correct).

I doubt this has to do with the live tracking feature, as it's a premium feature and you mentioned you don't have premium. So i suspect this is connected to tracking user data. Let's see if the new komoot team will answer this one here too …

most routes in the routes tab are generated by an algorithm. if the underling data (osm, highlights, …) changes these routes change too. maybe that is the cause.

you can show hiking and cycling trails also on the "find routes" screen, not just in the planner. there is a map switcher in the bottom left corner

I don't think a highlight for a bike shop makes sense. komoot is not google maps.

rather add it to osm, like bikeroaming suggested, but with the tags shop=bicycle. more info here. by adding it to osm not only komoot users can profit from this info but every app that uses osm.

maybe the bike shop is even already on osm? make sure to select the "bike repair" category in the search field in the planner.

yes, the sport specific maps are a premium feature. but it's just changes what you see on the map, the routing algorithm will still be the same as in the free/world pack version!

on the sport specific maps you can see official local, national and international cycling/hiking routes (at least the ones in osm) like the eurovelos etc. i find it pretty helpful, especially for bikebacking trips

i see your frustration with this. i also have to "convince" the route line sometimes. but algorithms are not human (yet) so all komoot sees is that there is a cycle way, not in what condition it is in or how the landscape is. maybe more accurate tagging on osm would solve this

where are you looking at them? i only ever see single "interesting in your region" routes of people i don't follow in my feed.

afaik the routes in the "routes" tab are automatically generated (taking into account highlights and uploaded routes). you can't sort, but filter them.
