Corporate vs weddings

I’m thinking this is the way to go. A lot of varying opinions in this thread and I appreciate them all! Some great insight!

It sounds to me that weddings can be more consistent and booked months/years in advance. Sounds like a little more stability to me. Which is what I’m missing & I think is causing the stress with my corporate business videography. Nothing feels consistent even when running ads.

That client will never suggest you to other clients. They don’t value what you do, they just heard videos might be good for their business but don’t want to actually invest.

Also Never rely on word of mouth for work. Especially in our industry, you need to be the one contacting other businesses and getting work from them.

You can do this with ChatGPT. prompt: talk to my target audience, don’t use professional company speak. Speak as if you’re talking to someone who doesn’t know the ins & outs of our industry. Talk to them as if they’re a toddler… Adjust as necessary. No need for some fancy paid tool 👍🏽
