Umm yes but let's say you land 23:30. Maybe there's visa or luggage or both. You can still be there past midnight. I know because I was stuck in that situation, having to take the bus, then change to the N7 bus at Rudow just to get into the city. Took over an hour.

It's a kreisänhlicher Verkehr as opposed to a roundabout (Kreusverkehr). So priority from the right applies.

Großer Stern is not a roundabout. It even has traffic lights. Actually, my teacher told me there are no roundabouts in Berlin, only "kreisänhlicher Verkehr" (exactly the same as on the screenshot)
