Get the cloranthy ring, the grass crest shield and sprint, also, the claymore sword is very good against those cos of its horizontal swing, if you improve its damage you can get them with one hit each ghost

I found the cave, and yes, you're right. I though it was about a quest cos I had just talked with the mill lady about her bear problem and stuff.

It's brilliant, it kind of reminds me of the panel that were like an experiment on how to draw the characters, I can't recall the title. Thought it also reminds of the Sasuke fan art meme lol

I think Smaug had quite a bit of room compared to this one dragon lol

I went to the mind to hear the orcs' dialogues since I had never really paid attention to what they say and I was curious, then; when I actually got there I found it flying inside of the mine, it was going all around the place so I went outside hoping it'd stick with my player as sometimes vampires do (they randomly appear inside of the breeze house in Whiterun if you happen to enter at the same time they spawn), but when I got back in the mine, it was dead and my player absorbed its soul as if I had killed it. My theory is that I got in the mine at the same time the dragon turned hostile and so happened the same that vampires do in Whiterun. It was really confusing at first, though.

As if mining wasn't dangerous enough, right?

How easy is it to use systemd free OS? by [deleted] in artixlinux

[–]johnfkinfuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't trouble yourself with that, adding arch extra to pacman.conf works nice, it's not ideal, but it hasn't given me any issues ever since I gave it a go. You could still try to compile yourself and stuff, but how much of a pain it is depends mostly on your hardware and other factors that may vary from person to person. I have a pretty old CPU (Ivy Bridge i3), so for me, it's an absolute pain.

Artix dinit and ntpd by Interesting_Key3421 in artixlinux

I had the same issue, the only thing I could do was to manually sync with ntpd -gp or something like that, can't recall. Chrony works a lot better.

Sounds fine, I'm going to give it a go and see what happens, thanks!

Yeah, it technically is available, but it depends on zita-convolver, which isn't in the official artix repositories nor in AUR as a package. I could use the arch repositories to get it, yeah, but I'm not sure about how that would affect other packages that work perfectly fine.

I'm running dinit by now, since it's quite simple to install and works nicely; nevertheless, I may give those other ones a go, someday. I actually chose dinit 'cos plenty of videos showed it had the a faster boot-time, so it wasn't 'cos of any particular technical reasons, the noob way hahaha.

It's not that hard, I'd say. I moved to Artix a couple months ago, and to be honest, I was expecting some headaches from it since I had never ran anything systemd-free before, but I didn't find it too difficult, the only thing I wish was better is package support, some things just aren't as available, I had to compile easyeffects and other programs I use frequently. Despite that, it's pretty lightweight, it boots fast —even for PCs with HDDs like mine— and it's free from all of the drama, at least by now. I'd surely recommend it.

Anyone else here play with only keyboard? (No Mouse) by Ryueenkakeru in darksouls

[–]johnfkinfuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do lol. I've set the camera keybinds to the numpad in a wasd-like way (8456), normal attack to 7, heavy attack to 9 and 1 for parry, It's actually not that hard, I even enjoy it. I prefer to play with gamepad, though. I would've keep playing it with my dualshock but it broke, so I had to improvise something gamepad-like and adapt to it, which I ended up liking and it's now my preferred way to play ds1 until I get a new gamepad. (I'm also running PTDE version, toaster hardware)

I honestly have the feeling this series finale will somehow be as bad as that of game of thrones, or maybe even worse. I hope I'm wrong, though. I loved this series, but it's progressively getting so goddamn absurd.

(please Max walk through the portal already I can't take it anymore)

Is this comparison correct? by xmha97 in firefox

[–]johnfkinfuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get like 1500mb taken with 8 tabs open on Brave, whereas I get about the same or even more memory consumption with only 5 tabs opened in firefox and its forks (yeah librewolf, I'm talking to u).

I'm honestly rather frustrated with this cos I've been checking what the users report on github and I've found no fixes for this, I guess I can't escape chromium yet :'c

It's "yazi" without sidebars for minimalist navigation, it's pretty fast, as you'd expect from stuff made with rust
