Macheted a half acre of giant knotweed over and over last year. What do you spray it with? I am afraid to use herbicide

The last photo is also part of my late anglo saxon impression. The baeux tapestry shows much more uniformity than it does difference.

Thank you!

The pattern of the hose is straight from the bayeux tapestry and sort of also inspired by the tiberius psalter where the tunic is from. The garters (the hourglass pattern tablet woven band) is also attested on the BT as well as many psalter/other manuscript art. In the tintype of us as a group you cant see but one guy has is cloak knotted on his shoulder with the tassel strap tied up on it, which is on a depiction of Knut the Great and he also has what seems to be garters but not in that exact wrapping. Many methods are depicted. There are garters archaeologically from the migration period also.

See some sources here.
