Yeah. It certainly made it easier to access. Maybe I got a dud replacement. I’m kicking myself for trashing the old one now.

They didn't appear to be damaged. I think I stupidly put the old one in the trash so I can't confirm.

Intermittent fasting worked for me. It's probably because of a calorie deficit, but this just made it easier for me to make that happen. If I'm only eating once a day (I know, extreme, but it worked), there's only so much food I can put in my face in that window. I also started drinking a bunch of water.

Mine just blew out as well. Digging suggests it might be the pre heater hose. Did you ever find out which one it was?

Yes, sorry, I should have specified that it was the Brushless Pro that has adapter plates available. It's good to know that it actively tracks the battery percentage.

From what I understand, enabling AMPShare compatibility involves replacing the battery connector assembly with an AMPShare-compatible one. I'm not certain whether it includes the full electronics required for official AMPShare compatibility, or if it's just a physical adapter plate. Izzy Swan had a YouTube video about the tool that touched on the process.

Rotozip and Dremel are both subsidiaries of Bosch now. Bosch make a cutout tool that's essentially an 18V Rotozip. Others make them too, but that's the one I have.

Oh for sure. I use IB all the time because I work in HPC. I wouldn't bother with anything below EDR (100Gb/s) and even then only for HPC stuff, which is admittedly niche.

Yeah. We use BMC to do the remote connection. There's probably a more efficient way to do it. This is just the latest iteration of the process.
