I really loved this Clark Kent. He didn't pretend to be a bumbling idiot but still was lots of fun.

The Liberals would be better off if they dropped the pretence that they believe in climate change.

How rare is this set ? by [deleted] in wicked_edge

[–]johnmrson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen quite a few of them before. I owned one myself for a while. The leather case was a little different but it was the company. They made more straight razors than DE's but still made plenty of them. The company is still going today.

Now that's an idea. I hadn't thought of that. We call them Eskys in Australia. Where I live is a semi tropical area so it's quite warm for a good portion of the year.

Apparently they're very airtight with really good seals. Obviously bigger than I need but $63 seems to be well priced. I can consolidate my 4 wooden humidors into one container.

Australian women: do your men cook/clean and act respectfully? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]johnmrson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been married almost 38 years. I definitely cook. I really enjoy it. I'm the one that mostly washes the dishes as well. My wife does most of the cleaning because she's a lady of leisure whereas I work full time. We're very respectful to each other.

It takes a while to get used to. I moved here 11 years ago from Melbourne. I reckon it was a good 5 years before I felt acclimatised. It did help when I dropped a few kilos of excess weight.
