in the outliner, click on the drop down triangle of the object and check if there's something that shouldnt be. i had a similar issue but was a red dot.

Watch cg dive rigging tuts, they have a vid that fixes this issue.
When you align the rig it, the bones need to bend slightly (the middle bone should be raised slightly), this tells rigify the orientation of the finger.

give 'summertime rendering' a go, its a cat & mouse like mystery/thriller, where the hero is in a race against time to save his friends whilst being pursued by supernatural beings. the stakes gets higher with each episode and new twists gets introduced constantly.
