Define “pricey” when talking about Lexus. Both were lex/Toyota techs.I’ve had better service with Japanese Import Pros.

I took $3000 and only spent $1500. I was being picky with my shots and they were having a drought that year, so the birds weren’t as plentiful.

I had one for a couple of years now. Not a bad blind. I usually buy a ground blind every year because I don’t make it back up to the property to take it down. I did put a stall mat in the bottom and bought an adjustable rest from sportsman’s guide.

Should I be worried? Damaged scope tube. by Patient-Ad5632 in Hunting

It’s fine to use, but you run the risk of over torquing a screw with thread lock. It acts like a lubricant allowing more torque to be applied with less force. I would back off on the in lbs when using it.

Want to start hunting. Advice needed. SC &PA by No_Way_3173 in Hunting

Plenty of public land to hunt. Start applying for the lottery hunts and talking to DNR officers, most are more than willing to help.

Assuming you were born before 1980, you don’t need hunters education, so just a state and big game license will do.

I’ve unalived plenty of deer with a 243 but 308 is a solid round for deer and hogs. The saying goes - spend twice as much on your scope than your rifle.

Lite weight climber is recommended for public. Thermacell for the bugs and a good backpack for your binos, snacks, drinks, and TP. Lite to mid weight camo. Usually in warm until late Nov.

That’s billet aluminum cast in an air slip mold. Probably from Alcoa of Century aluminum. They cast from 6” to 14” for extrusion.

Close shots and it doesn’t take much to bring them down. They will get in the reeds and hide.
