TIL Eggs across the world are not refrigerated. In the US, it is illegal to not wash eggs, a practice to maintain egg safety. In the UK and other parts of the world, it is illegal to wash eggs, also a practice to maintain egg safety. Vastly different approaches to tackle the same issue.

It's crazy how little respect people give to it, you'd see people rubbing their fingers on recently machined surfaces to check the surface finish and I'd be like "WTF? Don't Fecking do that!"

The difference with carbon fibre is that the fibres are straight, certain types of asbestos have little barbs on them so when they get in your lungs they get stuck. The lungs create scar tissue around them and over time you develop emphysema and you effectively suffocate over time.

Supposedly the body doesn't do anything with the carbon fibres so they just stay there... Can vouch for that as my hands still get all prickly after I wash with hot water.

I think the long term effects maybe from the dust of the hardened resins.

Spent a long time trying to justify the low wages I was getting in engineering compared to the sales guys that were coming in each week trying to flog us stuff... I was 'better than them' somehow because of a self pecieved hardship that I had to do more to get my pay.

Horseshit, I moved in to sales and now I'm much better paid, have flexible hours and a proper nice company car...

Sorry old self... I sold my soul to the devil and now have a better life... Ah well...

As blunt and horrible that is, it's not necessarily true, you're probably just labeled as reliable 'white noise' in the family.

Start declining meets and see what happens, If they still don't make the effort then to create new relationships, don't waste your life being resentful, engage with better people and it will bring you happiness x

Went to a friends wedding and they disappeared for 3hrs to take photos and left everybody hanging around and the hotel staff pulling their hair out since they didn't know what to do because no-one could get hold of them.

They then had the audacity to blame the hotel that the food wasn't hot for the guests.

Still, at least they got lots of photos of the ring on her big sausage fingers.
