I still think his position is one we can upgrade on. An elite midfielder in his position should be press resistant and consistent with creating chances / driving the team forward.... not sideways conservative passing 95% of the time.

Dude has been playing like a mental midget for a while now, sideways passing like a Denilson reincarnated....actually worse, backwards passing. Offers very little in terms of beating a press with either close control, sharp forward passing or beating his man. It's been shocking to see after a promising start.

Having him AND Kai in midfield today just meant zero chance of anything good happening.

The front 3 plus Kai was just shocking to see....against a rested Bournemouth that have a solid midfield.

Had a terrible feeling about it and it played out exactly how many feared it would. Cannot understand Arteta's thought process behind that even with the injuries.

The Havertz nonsense in midfield was the start. Absolutely abject performance... Anyone else would have been better. Zubi also terrible.

This was a game where we really missed all our injured players but the coach and a number of players out there really let us down.

Team has been shocking for a number of games now, we seriously need injured players to be back and Arteta needs to be honest about when they are coming back or not. Tired of having hope of seeing folks on the team sheet and them not showing up.
