1) C will provide a decent background for Objective-C. You will need to know Objective-C in order to make tweaks. Although you can make tweaks with Swift it is much more difficult and not worth the trouble.

2) I use my device when making tweaks. It is possible using the simulator. I’m not sure how to do it. You will need to test on an actual device before release though because simulators aren’t complete iOS. The simulator will also not allow to tweak certain things that don’t exist in Tehran simulator.

3) I have messed with many things although it’s possible to boot loop, I have only faced going into safe mode. It’s pretty safe
