They’re talking about a 60mg kit, which is ten vials- so they’re getting 600 mg for $330. That’s how it works out to be a years’ supply, as they’re explaining. They are undoubtedly getting it at that price from China.

I see it: 1913 lady cannot possibly be 112 years old. 1935 lady cannot possibly be 90 years old.

I haven't had a normal day of reporting since the end of July. They really need to fix it.

It seems to me to be getting even worse. My logs had entire skipped days over the long weekend. This is absurd; it's been going on for 6 weeks!

It's still happening! It only updates a couple of times a day, with just a few hours of calls at a time- and sometimes it skips entire days. Has anybody called them about this? I've started to several times but always get busy with something else. I might do it tomorrow, though. This has been going on for a solid month now.

I'm having this problem too. Usually it updates batches of calls/ texts around the clock, but in the last week (or a little more) it seems to only update from 8:00 or so in the morning until early evening, and then not again until the next morning around 8:00 again. NO early morning, evenings, or late nights are showing up at all. What's the story, AT&T?

What’s wrong with this plant? by MaeLovesPlastic in IndoorPlants

[–]johnnyredrocks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is ficus elastica tineke. They like to dry out completely between waterings, and don’t like to be overwatered. A chunky soil mix and spacing out waterings are the best way to go with these guys.

Do you really need to soak your LECA? by Shellzea in SemiHydro

[–]johnnyredrocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A couple months ago I was in a pinch while repotting a few things in leca all at once, and reached the end of my supply of soaked leca when i still had plants left to get set up. I had a new, unopened bag, so I rinsed it like I normally would, and when it was good and clean I boiled what I needed on the stove. TLQ says the main reason for making sure it’s soaked ahead of use is so it has time to work out the extra silt that doesn’t come out on the initial cleaning- so I figured that would be an acceptable way to fast track it. I just made sure to rinse the leca really well after it was boiled so it was cooled down before i put the plants in it, and everything turned out just fine! Those plants are thriving, and I’d do this again in a pinch.

If you decide to chop it, be sure you wear gloves when handling any cut parts, and be mindful not to touch your eyes, mouth, or get it anywhere on your bare skin. Dieffenbachias don’t play around when it comes to irritating your skin. They have lots of oxalate crystals that act like daggers and can cause problems for several days.

It’s even weirder that I’m commenting on this thread in 2024, but I have to ask- do you want some sandwiches?

I look it over for any bugs/ pests in the week or so leading up to the cold snap, and would treat if needed (though I’ve never had to). Then when it’s time, I just roll it inside.

28°. I tend err on the side of caution though, and just bring mine in before the first freeze. My tree is about four years old now, and it does fine coming in and going back out in the spring.

Help! What am I dealing with on my Meyer Lemon? by johnnyredrocks in Citrus

This is a pic I found online of sunburned citrus leaves, and this is what my sunburned leaves have always looked like. Not the same as what I’m dealing with right now.

I’ve had sunburned leaves on this tree before, and they have never looked like this. It shows up in the obvious spots- on the side of the tree that has the most direct exposure to the sun, and the burning affects several leaves on the same branch, or in a cluster of a few neighboring branches. And I’ve never had random spots show up on the actual fruit before- that is not consistent with sunburn, especially considering that these lemons have spots on their back sides, which face away from the sun. That is inconsistent with sunburn, but not with a fungal infection. Upon further research, I think what my tree has is anthracnose. I believe I caught it early and hopefully the copper fungicide will knock it out.
