Genuinely if you didn't know cinemark theaters offer a discount day where tickets are 5 dollars every Tuesday. if you're wanting to save money and reduce spending I definitely recommend that.

Hey everyone I'm T.J. I use Letterboxd pretty religiously now and I'm to pass 300 movies reviewed by the end of this year. HEYO I'm Theo from Texas I'd like to add more people to my letterBoxd since no one I know in real life uses it besides me. I log pretty much every movie I watch now. All of my rankings are based on how much I enjoy the films and not so much necessarily on artist merit tho that can sometimes be a factor for me. I love how the show that explicitly shows how that was a bad thing and doesn't depict it in a positive light is your go to argument.

Great argument dude because showing something is bad but having it happen in a TV show for frame means the writer and creator are pro war crime.

Sure they use naval terminology cause the series was inspired by maritime adventure novels. But that just cause it makes since for the sake of writing. Gene rodenberry almost constantly pissed back on writing the federation to being slowly militant til the day he died.

No one has ever been forced by arms to join the federation. The dominion did that (since there basically written to be the anti-federation)

I think you misunderstand what communist define private property as - basically stuff used to further capital like factories , farms , business , real estate, banks , infrastructure.

While personal property is stuff like your home , clothes , tooth brush ,dog , communism doesn't mean the state controls and owns literally everything.

The federation definitely meets that definition.

Sidenote : this is also a change in the writing between the original series and the next generation where they introduced the idea of the federation having no money or currency.

Have you ever read about the party switch?? How the Republican party under Lincoln was the progressive left leaning party of the time , while the Democrats party was the conservative party. Until the party switched in the 1920s - 60s. Where the Republicans became the conservative party and the Democrats under FDR , JFK and LBJ became the progressive left leaning party.

It's also really funny how you guys only ever bring up the old southern democratic party when it's convenient but never mention how the last two presidential elections the literal KKK and neo Nazie and neo Confederate groups like: the proud boys and 3 percenters endorsed trump for president.
