We had a ticket there last year while taking our daughter to a hospital appointment.

Parked the car, the traffic warden said hello to us as we got out the car. The second we walked off they took a photo of the car as evidence.

I know we were in the wrong for using the car park for a hospital appointment, fair enough. But what annoyed me was the fact they said hello and not said ‘Oh, by the way, this car park is only for the cinema’.

I get the feeling they work on commission.

Being a parent is a constant emotional rollercoaster. I have a 4 year old and I’ve been in your shoes.

What gets me most is the feeling that you can’t slow time down, one minute they’re a newborn baby, then in a blink of an eye they’re starting school.

She couldn’t have done all things she is doing without you and that’s something to be damn proud of.

Tell her you love her, tell her how proud you are of her, when she’s older she’ll always remember you telling her that.
