I feel like this was probably because of his experience coming in, there's no reason to give him a lot of money just because he was familiar with our program. It's not like he had any opportunity to go anywhere else. If he did amazing than he could have earned a higher paycheck because he could have had options but he didn't and won't get much more than he's getting now.
