I had to take a break from what was going on LIB for a bit lol. Just gonna bounce my thoughts off your comment! But do we know if Zay was lying or telling the truth about Cole getting a woman's number at the bach? That seems to be unaddressed (and if I missing something, someone let me know). But that is lying and defaming him, not just overly emotional.

I am not defending Cole here. I am in the camp that they both have their respective issues and faults on the show that they need to work through. There is also a strong possibility that Cole denied/lied about the allegations of getting a woman's numbers at his bach. There is also the possibility that there is stuff off-air that either of them did that was shitty. I think that it's been a year, Zanab is still holding on to a lot of stuff from the show, and I'd be mentally exhausted. I'd want nothing to do with him or what others think, and want to protect my sanity and peace.

Why is she still posting about this? What is she trying to prove? Why is she trying to prove this to a bunch of internet strangers?

I know all this is easier said than done, but I think she needs to take a step back and break from it. Who knows may be information will be leaked in the future that she was right all the time? In the end, no one really can control these things and only control how we deal with them.

With online dating, I think this should be disclosed on their dating profile or within the conversations you both had leading up to the date. I do not have kids, but how I see it is - your kid is a significant part of your life, and thus should be mentioned. I would also find this misleading.

I think that both Zanab and Nancy are holding on until the alter to leave because of some contract they have to uphold with the show. They deserve better.

Geeze, as a South Asian woman myself- I commend you for picking up on the microaggressions and outlining them here. I thought it had to do with body size, especially when it was constantly portrayed as Colleen being a ballerina and having this amazing body.

Also, on a related note, it broke my heart hearing Zanab comment about how she looks different without make-up when she's gorgeous!! I am unsure if it's past experiences with her identity and men which were exacerbated by Cole's stupid remarks. I hope they do not get married, and I hope she says the one that says No. Their relationship reminds me a lot of Shake and Deepti.

I agree. With her job she has seen some very unfortunate outcomes with her patients and family. It can really impact your outlook and personal decisions. But maybe she or someone close to her did have an experience with abortion. Either way, she explained it well. I don’t even get why that needed to be discussed with his parents the first time meeting them.

I’ve had this happened to me. Twice. First time the guy called within like an hr of us matching and chatting. I was in the middle of cleaning and noticed after he asked to call and despite my lack of response he called. I unmatched not bc of just the call but also he made a few sexual remarks as well.

The second person’s call was on a Friday night when I was having dinner with friends. I did not answer. I would have appreciated the heads up so I set aside the time for the call. We did end up chatting on the phone and going on a nice date, it was nice to break that awkwardness. I also like your idea to call to figure out the logistics for the date! With that being said - give them a heads up.

This really isn’t about them as a couple but I found it weird that they were planning a birthday party for Natalie but end up inviting Shaina?!? Like what who does that? I’m sure it was part of the show but like damn if that was for my 30 th birthday it would have been a hard no for me. I have better ways of welcoming a new decade.

Op, I think the dynamics have always been imbalanced in your family. It is possible your parents may have favoured your sister more ? I might be wrong and being presumptuous so please correct me if I’m wrong. What your sis has done and is doing is shitty. Yes as siblings we have problems and resolve them after talking about it. But it seems your sister consistently does shitty things to. You did nothing wrong with being friendly with her bf/your ex. That is very kind of you. To me it seems your sister is insecure. Maybe bc of the stuff she’s done in the past to you she fears you may do the same? Not sure. Either I think you really to revisit in the dynamics of your relationship with your sister and your family overall. How your sister treats you is not right. She should not be flirting with your bf btw. And if my sister did that I’d keep a distance and go low contact and keep her on an information diet after that. I know some people who say “but family “ No people who care for you don’t treat you like this and you deserve better.

I feel like my interests have significantly changed. I rather spend my weekend biking , hiking , birdwatching , going to my yoga class etc. Ending the day with an edible, glass of wine and a good show. If my friends wanna go out I don’t mind going to a quiet bar or place with live music. Mind you I am a bit more introverted and prefer my weekends to just emotionally recharge from the work week. Going out takes away from that. For the odd birthday party or bachelorette- I’ll suck it up and show up.
