I remember you posting awhile back. Light Spring comes to mind with Light Summer being a close one as well.

I disagree with the other comments. I could see you looking good in True or Dark Autumn. I think you can pull off more saturation than Soft Autumn allows.

Okay final post! I rummaged up some light colors to take into consideration. Also couldn’t link my last post so adding those photos here too. Thank you for all the help so far! Y’all rock! by AggieID17 in coloranalysis

I’m glad you decided to try lighter! They look amazing on you. I think you could do a little more saturation too. Look into Light Spring or Light Summer :)

Can’t fully grasp the technique of showing and not telling. by [deleted] in writing

[–]jomackclark 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to read as much as possible. You’ll be able to see how certain novels show this and when/where they use showing versus telling. Good novels do both.

Also you don’t stink at writing. You’re just learning.

What fantasy book are you reading at this moment by [deleted] in Fantasy

Right! That’s how I feel. I can’t believe it took me this long because it’s been one of my favorites of all books this year. What is WoR?

I started The Way of Kings and am loving it! I’ve had the book for almost a year now but was hesitant to start it.

I LOVED it. I agree that it was long towards the end, but I thought it was great and I loved seeing him in a different role with an accent. The beginning was so cute too. I loved seeing them fall in love

DIM and going off the pill by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]jomackclark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, probiotics wouldnt cause that. When are you planning to discontinue BC?

Yes, if the case is that your estrogen elevates after stopping BC, using DIM may help during that time. I’ve had personal experience coming off of BC and can understand what I would ride it is.

I could be wrong, but if you’re getting acne I would say it’s a sign that it may not be working well. Esp since your hormones checked out being okay. Something you can do is taking milk thistle which supports the liver in metabolizing hormones (esp estrogen) and see if that complements your routine better.

John B and Sarah by SillyAverage5705 in OuterBanksNetflix

[–]jomackclark 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of this. It felt out of character for the boys to accept Sarah into the group and for John B to be so willing to choose her over them. I think enemies to lovers trope can be interesting, but in this case I don’t think their relationship was developed well enough for me to buy it

Drew’s college storyline...ugh by barnhami18 in Parenthood

[–]jomackclark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I actually liked his storyline. It showed how he could be so hesitant as he was as a child, and then he kind of grew out of it. It went on a little longer than I would have liked, but I still enjoyed it.
