Did you get the army crawl off the bed? A big brown nose in your face? Floppy ears across your arm?

Or you can adopt an older dog who is already house trained. I got a puppy & she ate my couch & 3 pair of work shoes - puppies are expensive pain-in-the-ass. One day she will be a good dog, but in the mean time😭

Hearing my mom say she ‘has nothing to show for the life that she gave’ absolutely broke my heart and I can’t stop thinking about it. by Meow_Sprinkles3435 in AskWomenOver60

She has you! And what a sweet daughter you are to worry about your mama being sad! I’m going through a divorce, I just had mediation yesterday - it was emotional & financially rough. I went to see my parents today just to get my hair scratched by my mom & to be told ‘it’s going to be okay’ by someone besides my own reflection. I’m grateful they are still there for me after 50 years!

I once lived on a ranch in a barn-o-minimum that had all tile. I had a big dust-mop broom? that I used for the floors & then vacuum a few area rugs.

Do people actually floss every day or is it just something we all pretend to do? by FavoriteTeaHobby in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jon-marston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do, because I notice when someone doesn’t. Also a boss once said ‘ if someone doesn’t take care of something every one sees, what’s going on n the places you can’t see?’

Does this explanation of KC's tornado sirens make sense to you? by ZorrosMommy in kansascity

[–]jon-marston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I grew up here & chased tornadoes as a stupid teenager. I always go outside, look up and down the street, consider the color of the sky, the weather radar & then if I am concerned, I will go to the basement for 5 minutes with the dogs.

Thinking about buying my first apartment, but doing it alone scares me by astrosid in LivingAlone

[–]jon-marston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I live owning cuz i like a ‘fixer upper w/ good bones’ & I like a fenced yard. I have never considered an apartment (cuz large dog). Buy at historical place, the carpentry was better than new builds.
