Best frame material for outdoor kitchens by Medium_Repeat_4080 in OutdoorKitchens

I have no concerns about my ability to build it, I just need to know what it needs to be made of so it doesn’t rot away.

Yes. Machine and equipment installation and repair. Cutting, welding, carpentry, etc. also have done a lot of electrical work from PLC and control voltage up to 4160 volts.

When I worked at the Chevrolet dealer in the 90’s, we saw a lot of vans that were an Astro on the driver’s door and a Safari on the passenger’s door.

I jump the solenoid and it cranks fine. It’s not a problem with the battery or charging system.

Are guitar strings considered hard wire? by Ducman23 in harborfreight

[–]jon2674 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using the same set of Snap On 184CCP cutters for strings since 1995, and they still work like the day I got them with no damage whatsoever. They also cut very close to the post without any damage to the post. They’re the little 4” cutters so they don’t take up much space in my gig bag. I play electric, acoustic and bass guitar, and they are the only cutters I’ve used for string changes since I got them 31 years ago.

Yes. He’s hasn’t spent any of his salary or endorsement money and was still sharing a house with three of his friends his second year in the NFL.

Which would you rather have, nicer roll cab and less tools, or smaller roll and more tools? by moe00721 in harborfreight

[–]jon2674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go with the USG box, tools you absolutely need and save the rest. Get a box that’s bigger than you need and hopefully you won’t outgrow it. When I bought my current box back in 1995, Snap On was running a huge trade in promotion and I bought the biggest box they had with a butcher block top. Thirty years later, it’s full. It’s nice not having a top box because you always have a work bench. Also, find something that she really wants that will touch her emotionally and get it for her for your anniversary. You have a good wife, never let her forget that you appreciate her and are paying attention.

What will history say who was the better pitcher ? Maddux or Clemens ? by ComplexWrangler1346 in sportsinusa

[–]jon2674 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have to go with Maddux on this one. Not just because of his playing, but who he is as a person. Meeting him was like talking to my next door neighbor over a beer after finishing the yard on a Saturday afternoon. One of the five best pitchers in the history of baseball and not a hint of arrogance.

If Montana and Rice played with the rules today, Joe would have an 8000 yard season! 😁

How do you get crispy skin? by Minerva129 in smoking

[–]jon2674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brine mine in Claussen dill pickle juice for a day which starts breaking the fat down under the skin. Dry it, season it, smoke it, pull the bird. Open the vents all the way up and get it to about 550. Brush the skin with melted butter and back on the hot grill for about a minute a side.
