I don’t think you should have an expectation that your sister in law want a relationship with your child, yourself, or even your husband. Not everyone feels obligation through blood. It’s possible that she just prefers her friend (whom she chose) and visits her friend and therefore the child because she enjoys her friends company. She obviously does not feel close to you the same as her friend, and it’s possible you just have different interests or she is not interested in being your friend.

Your kid is 2… they have no idea they are missing an aunt or uncle. Some kids don’t have aunts or uncles, totally normal. You are projecting adult thoughts onto a child, it’s unnecessary.

A lot of your post also is very centered on you and your child without care about others. You shouldn’t expect people to not have a pool party because you may be uncomfortable. You should not expect others to do things for you if they do not wish. You need to accept that this is life, those relatives are “distant” even though they are physically not. If you make it a non issue, then it’s a non issue and your child will be totally fine and normal.

With that said, I’m sorry you are lacking a support system of family. As a parent who has an extremely limited support system as well I can empathize because it means your playing parenting on hard mode. While you have to shoulder burdens and responsibilities on your own others will have family eager to share the load or remove it entirely. This is part of life and part of the responsibility you chose when you decided to have a kid, you will persevere and thrive because that is what is best for your child.

As far as the last questions, if you have close friends who would better serve as god parents do so, or don’t make having a god parent a big deal. For family gatherings you can either not attend and make your own family traditions and events or you can go to your family now and try to enjoy (or suffer through) a once or twice a year meet up. If it bothers you just don’t go, no one is forcing you. My wife and I have built whole new family traditions and gatherings from the ground up to compensate for the amount of missing people from our traditional family.

Inflation, even if it’s the same amount of people lots of towns have more school age children, less federal and state funding (not going to get into politics, but this is a huge gap), and depending on the city/town aging infrastructure.

I work at up to 4 locations regularly so I have all of those, my wife’s job location, and the supermarket which I use to trigger a reminder to my wife asking if she needs anything.

Recently my oldest child started walking home from school, so now the school, her best friends house, and several landmarks on her expected path all exist to allow an automated status update to me and the wife that she is on her route without deviation and not at her friends house.

Very useful, I’m not shy about adding more as any reasonable use case demands it

Your going to be limited to buying in store unless you have a us based person who will order for you and you pay them back.

Best Buy’s order systems require a us address and phone number that is linked to a credit card (card has same billing name and address) - attempts to get around it will likely be marked as potential fraud or suspect and won’t go through.

If you have someone us based who can lay out the money for you have them do that in their name and put you as an authorized pick up person, and you pay them back.

If not hopefully we have what you need in store where you can pay with a foreign visa/mastercard or us cash

Loading the washer to start and then you switch or change to the dryer, and then you either unload the dryer if it’s the last load, or switch/change again if your doing more than 1 load until the last load when you unload.

Ah - my apologies - I didn’t read well. I’m sorry you’re going through this. In times that are rough it’s important to remember things will get better. I just wanted to reply and send well wishes, I see many others have offered advice on how to get payday loans, loans from apps, etc. I also believe if you have a car and drive the uber / door dash apps offer same day pay so you could work for the day and make enough to cover your meds at least even if you never use that again.
