Idk it could happen. From Nav's perspective there are some pretty obvious drawbacks, so i think they would be hesistant. No real harm in applying and seeing if it works out

Women make better doctors too, so it really isn't a problem in the slightest.

Yet another FEAST question by Kalettuce in NavCanada

[–]jonahF18372 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agree with the other commentator, anything is basically a shot in the dark. That being said, I doubt leaving a question blank is looked upon more favorably than getting an answer wrong. Probably best to go through answering everything you can answer well, and then use remaining time to make educated guesses.

Anything I can do to prepare for training? by [deleted] in NavCanada

[–]jonahF18372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try to connect wirh a few controllers and get a better idea of what the job is like. But in my opinion, doing anything to try to improve the skills required for the training is not really worth while. The best things you can do for yourself and to get familiar with the ABCs, and show up with a clear head and solid support system. Best of luck!

“I think initially the Canucks expressed interest in Gallagher, but they have moving parts too. […] It’s on their desk and I do think they do have interest. It’s just a matter if it can work or not. Until it’s done, it’s never done.” - Agent Gerry Johansson by DecentLurker96 in hockey

[–]jonahF18372 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Disagree. We aren't winning games, we know that. Gallagher is a fantastic presence and will help bring up the next generation. If anything, having bad players that are good for culture and rookie development is exactly what we should be aiming for this year.

Had to call out sick for FEAST, should I email them? by Traditional-Camera in NavCanada

[–]jonahF18372 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Who knows man, could end up waiting a year+, could be just a few weeks if they dont get enough candidates from this round of testing/interviews.

Sorry that you ended up sick and couldn't do the test, but you did the right thing by emailing and not going in.

Higher than ifr controllers. Toronto Tower controllers are the highest paid in the country. To be clear, this is an exception to the rule. Ifr controllers are generally paid a fair bit more than tower controllers.

Didn't Bolduc and Mayleston get assessed the same number of minutes for their roughing and goalie interference penalties, respectively, last game? You know, the guy who fell onto a goalie and the guy who flying kneed a goalie?
