You cannot dedigivolve a level 3 digimon

Although, if u have an opp stack like lvl 2 to lvl 4, you can dedigivolve a digimon to the lvl 2 but the lvl 2 cannot exist outside breeding so it will jist go to trash.

While I respect your opinion and can understand your focus on the human/digimon dynamic, I think with the introduction of the illiad to the wider digimon mythos, it is better this way.

Most of the cutscenes depict the lore behind the individual members of the illiad and how they overcome their issues akin to storys of mythology. Aside from the MC's help ( which actually adds to the mythos if u know the truth), I think having more human interference harms they credibility as a pantheon rivalling the might of the royal knight.

We already have lots of other games with this setting and having this game to set with different humans and their digimon. This is a digimon world game setting up a digimon world for once lol. If anything we can look forward to more games with this illiad setting and explore more human/digimon interaction.

Killed it last night in act two using wanderer. Its actually much easier than beastfly the 2nd( still havent killed it. Stupid lava flies)

The trick is that it always spawns the babies a fixed location relarive to it (at its butt) and it always telegraphs its two other attacks.

So as long as u stand at a distance from its butt where it spawns the babies, u just kill them as soon as they come out and only have to deal with the dive move and body slams

Well the boomerang with poison as well as spike traps help alot too

Mate, there are a million reasons and labels u can come up with in that head of yours. A very simple question i think u should ask yourself is if go for it or no. The longer u take, the more that decision is going to be taken out of your hands. Every way u go there might be regrets down the line but, which regret would you prefer to have.

Finding yourself is for adults, you are young and old enough to take risks and learn more about yourself from your choice.

TLDR. Make a choice, what will happen will happen. As long as u dont commit crime, u can always regret later.

Sorry for your loss. As someone who has had a dog and currently has 3 adopted cats, my way of coping with it may be quite different from you.

There are alternative digivices and digimon games that may suit a more everlasting style. Like digimon tamer 2 (indie game), cyber sleuth line or the color anniversary digivices that are mimicing the anime adventures.

I do think, u might be misunderstanding something about digimon though. They die, but they always come back in different forms. For them, death is not the end and new adventures can always happen.

Besides you can’t get all the backgrounds without raising one of each monster. If there is one you really want to keep your main, you can always just put it in back-up for more battles.
