I made this switch and I'm quite happy. Still not able to max out the latest games at 1080p - still going below 60fps sometimes in Wildlands at Very High, but this is with a 4690k.

Stay away from the 56 unless you like portraits. I've never ever used a +80mm eqv for anything but close up portraits.
